We thought we’d start by giving you a ‘behind the scenes’ look into our upcoming exhibition. So we’ve got just a few images for you from the installation of Carlos Garaicoa’s show; La enmienda que hay en mí (Making Amends) which will run from August 23 – December 11, 2010 @ USFCAM. Our very own Peter Foe, Shannon Annis, and Lillebit Fadraga unpack Carlos Garaicoa’s work, shipped in all the way from Cuba.
Inspired by the architecture and culture of his native Havana, Carlos uses a variety of materials and techniques that incorporate drawing, photography, sculpture and text in dramatic, large-scale installations as well as precious miniatures…
